Mr. William B. Jordan, an early student of Wabash College and citizen of this city many years, died at Hempstead, Texas on the 14th inst of Bright's Disease. He had been in the grocery business south for some 18 years, and was in his 77th year. Mr. Jordan's nearest relatives in Crawfordsville are Mrs. George Lamb and Mrs. Wm. P. Griest. William B. Jordan, an early student of Wabash College and long time citizen of Crawfordsville, died of Bright’s disease at Hempstead, Texas, on the 14th of this month. He was in the grocery business in the south some 18 years, and was in the 77th year of his life. He was a brother to Mrs. Mary E. Lamb and Mrs. Ann Griest, of this city. He was interred on Sunday morning at his late home in Texas. -- s
